What you get
A billing relationship
No passwords
Identity follows the wallet that paid, so there is no account to create and none to reset.
Self-service cancellation
When you allow it, the subscriber ends the plan from their own wallet.
Invoice downloads
The same PDF you issued, fetched with their session rather than from a public link.
Chain receipts
Every payment links to the chain's own record of it, which Reclack neither owns nor can edit.
Your branding
Logo, tint and button colour, the same as checkout and receipts.
Private by default
A portal that is switched off is indistinguishable from one that never existed.
In detail
Everything a customer can do for themselves
Each line here is a message your support inbox stops receiving.
Signing in
- A signature from the wallet that paid
- No password, and nothing for support to reset
- Sessions expire and are rescoped on every request
- A customer only ever sees their own records
Subscriptions
- Every plan with your business
- Amount, cadence and next charge date
- The approval behind it and what it covers
- Cancellation from their own wallet, when you allow it
Invoices
- Open and paid invoices in one list
- PDF downloads of anything they were billed
- The pay link for anything still open
- Status beside each invoice number
Payments
- Every payment, with its amount and date
- A receipt page per payment
- An explorer link to the transaction
- The invoice each payment settled
Your controls
- Switch the portal on or off
- Decide whether customers may cancel for themselves
- Write the headline they see
- Your logo, page tint and button colour
What it saves you
- The invoice copy requests
- The receipt requests
- The “when does this renew” emails
- The cancellations that would otherwise be a support ticket
Principles
What a billing portal has to be careful about
A page showing somebody's payment history has to be certain whose history it is showing.
Their records, not everyone's
A portal session is scoped to one customer. Every query is filtered by that scope on the server, not by what the page happens to ask for.
No password to lose
Sign-in is a signature from the wallet that paid. There is no credential for your support team to reset, and none for an attacker to phish.
Cancellation is theirs
When you allow it, ending a plan is sent from the customer's own wallet, and Reclack confirms the chain agreed before marking it cancelled.
Never a seed phrase
Reclack asks a customer to sign. It never asks for a seed phrase or a private key, in the portal or anywhere else.
Documents, not screenshots
Invoices download as PDFs and payments have permanent receipt pages, so a customer can file what they were billed.
Your name on it
The portal is branded as your business. A customer checking their billing should not be looking at somebody else's logo.
Illustrations on this page use sample data.
Questions
Before you switch it on
- What does signing in actually do?
- The wallet signs a message. It costs nothing, moves nothing and gives the page no permission to spend, which is exactly what the portal tells the customer before they sign.
- Can a customer see somebody else's billing?
- No. The session token names one customer of one merchant, and every query behind it is scoped by both.
- What if we do not want self-service cancellation?
- Turn it off. The portal still shows plans, invoices and payments, and cancellation goes back to being a conversation with your team.
- Do customers need an account first?
- No. Paying creates the record, and the wallet that paid is what signs in later. There is nothing to invite and nothing to activate.

Stop answering billing emails
Turn the portal on and your customers can see and settle their own billing.
