Questions

Before you integrate

The things worth knowing while you are still deciding.

When is the 1.5% taken?
At collection. The fee comes out of the payment as it settles, so there is no separate invoice from us and nothing to reconcile at the end of the month.
Can I pass the fee to my customer?
Yes. Every checkout, payment link and invoice carries a fee_payer setting. Leave it on merchant and the fee comes out of your share. Set it to customer and the amount the payer sends is grossed up to cover it.
What about network fees?
Those belong to the chain, not to us, and they move with what it costs to write a transaction at the time. On the networks we collect on today they are usually a fraction of a cent.
Is there a monthly fee or a minimum?
No. If you collect nothing in a month, you pay nothing. The whole product is available from the first payment, including webhooks, the customer portal and the sandbox.
What counts as large enough for Enterprise?
There is no published threshold, because the answer depends on how you collect as much as how much. Write to [email protected] with your volumes and we will come back with a rate and how it would be invoiced.
Do I need a contract to start?
Not for the standard rate. You can create a key, take a payment in sandbox, and go live when you are ready. Enterprise terms are agreed in writing because the rate is negotiated.

Take a payment in sandbox before you decide

Test chains, test money, the same objects and the same events. Nothing of value moves until you swap the key.
